Godlee Davis currently oversees all operations for DECO Recovery Management, LLC a premier Eligibility vendor. Ms. Davis has 15 plus years of experience with Social Security Disability Advocacy.
As a previous employee of the Social Security Administration, she is familiar with the inner workings of the disability determination process from initial filing to representation at hearings before administrative law judges and beyond. Her formal education was received at The Johns Hopkins University of Baltimore, MD.
As a current member or the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR) and former member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), she has attended numerous conferences designed particularly for Social Security Disability Advocacy.
Ms. Davis has over 4 years experience with the Disability Entitlement Advocacy Program (DEAP) of Maryland which provided advocacy for Maryland’s indigent population.
Ms. Davis also participated in the Review and Analysis of Maryland’s Medicaid Disability Determination Process along with representatives of Legal Aid, AARP, DHMH, and DHR which was responsible for the 2005 revisions of the Forms 402B Medical Report and 4204 Social Data form.
Ms. Davis is an Accredited Disability Representative (ADR), a designation reserved for distinguished Disability Advocacy professionals. Ms. Davis has been successful in obtaining disability benefits for thousands of applicants and has represented clients in several states including MD, DC, VA, DE, PA,GA, IL, IN, LA, RI, SC, and TX to name a few.
Ms. Davis is an active member of the Maryland chapter of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) and has been a speaker/presenter at many local and national conferences. She has played an intricate role in social advocacy for communities and endeavors to improve the quality of life for underprivileged residents.
